I've always worn bras with underwire, I used to think that it was the only way to make my boobs look bigger. I was also once told when I was much younger that if you don't want your boobs to sag you should wear underwire bras for better support. Why so much support (excuse the pun) for the underwire? I'd never actually tried any wire-free bras to compare....  I was stalking the Playtex Instagram and saw gorgeous photos of model Margaret wearing some "wire-free" bras and decided to give them a try. WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING ALL MY LIFE! It was like putting a silk pillow case on my breasts. Comfort level without a doubt a 10. But how did my breasts look? Well that was instantly answered when my boyfriend walked passed and said "Damn your boobs look big" I looked down and thought, hey they actually do. But could I just abandon the faithful underwire I had relied on all my life? The underwire still gave me great support, there were many more options to choose from. My boobs looked great when I wore them and it is what I have always worn.... However... The wire-free also gave great support! The fit and back straps are very comfortable and there are great colours and fabrics available. So what did I go with? Well, I've found that I've been wearing my wire-free bras as my everyday bra. I'm enjoying the comfort when I'm at work or running around the studio. I'm confident that I get as much support as I need without the underwire. I haven't completely abandoned my underwire bras though and find I'm reaching for them for a night out or for particular outfits. Either way my boobs have been perky and supported and I'm glad Playtex opened my eyes to the comfort of wire-free. There is room in my wardbrobe for both but wire-free might be having a little more breast time than the underwire.

Jazz! Thank you for this post!! I was also under the impression that I needed wires in my bras. I had been told without them, my boobies would sag. So I endured very uncomfortable wires in my bras for the past decade. Thanks to your post I'm now willing to give my boobies a chance to rest comfortably on pillows of their own - wireless bras!
