Situated on Toorak Road South Yarra, is modern Turkish fine dining restaurant Yagiz. Turkish wines, Raki & a Turkish coffee cocktail were cleverly paired with an elegant 4 course chefs menu. Stuffed mussels with rice & currants and the Tarama, Fraser Island Crab and trout roe were highlights although there really weren't any dishes that didn't satisfy. Our waiter talked of ambitions of being the best Turkish restaurant in Australia. It might just be there.
