This week I was fortunate enough to attend the launch of Luke Hines' new recipe book, Eat Clean..
Luke is hilarious and down to earth and it was an absolute pleasure to attend. I was welcomed and taken to the first "eating station" on arrival, I knew it was going to be a memorable morning.
We mingled and ate raw chocolate mousse, chia seed pudding and toasty maple granola. Luke later demonstrated and made his Granola showing it's a very quick and easy recipe (Thank God!), as I downed mine in a couple mouthfuls and was instantly craving more.
We moved into the VZUG demo kitchen and watched Luke whip up an epic kale & fennel frittata and the delicious one bowl brownie with raspberries.
My favourite of the day had to be the Green Breakfast Salad with herbed eggs, I mean who the hell thought salad could taste that good! So good that I managed to get some takeaway containers from the kitchen staff and made sure none of that salad went to waste.
The recipes in the cook book are easy to follow and your mouth will water just looking at the photos on every page. I seriously want to make everything in there. Add this one to your shopping list, a new must have in the kitchen.
