Karishma Kasabia is founder and designer of Australian label Khòlò who recently came together with 3 Australian designers to release a collection of tote bags, with all of the profits to be donated to the ASRC - Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. The artists Laura Blythman, Megan Weston & Peaches + Keen all designed pieces of art around 'hope & resilience' which was then either embroidered or screen printed onto canvas and turned into the totes. The ASRC is an independent, not for profit organisation and purchasing a tote bag will help the ASRC provide food, housing, healthcare and legal support to people who would otherwise be at risk of destitution. www.kholo.com.au
